More images, with a slight tweak in the mathematics. The barring is unintentional but I like the aesthetic...

Inheritance
These images are dynamically drawn in flash, and each one is unique. Each horizontal line is created with reference to the one above, each block inheriting its tone from 3 'parents' above it.
I'm working on an improved script in order to create more complex images.
