Brief reprise

Decided it might be nice to revisit the barred images with colour before moving on to new things. Turned out ok as well. Hoping to get one with a larger 'tail' or two at some point, but for now, here they are.

More colour

So, I decided to try and pursue the colour thing a bit further, and with a bit of a tweak, voila...

...however, the colour range is a bit broad and garish, so with some play...

I'm still not happy with the blending between the colours, and maybe the script needs a bit of a nudge to get it right, but I think there is something promising here. I might consider a rewrite of the code, however I also think I'm getting a bit restricted by this script, so maybe time to return to sound/vision based drawings. Time to dig out some old code...

And for a touch of colour...

...but not to get too carried away.

These images are dynamically drawn in flash, and each one is unique. Each horizontal line is created with reference to the one above, each block inheriting its tone from 3 'parents' above it.

I'm working on an improved script in order to create more complex images.
